The Characterization Engine (ChEn) is the root of everything produced by eXenSa. ChEn is an extremely fast, scalable and powerful engine that can reveal the deepest hidden meaning out of many kind of data. We have yet to explore all of its possible use, but for now it is used in :

•  vocabulary characterization : revealing the similarity between words
• document characterization, clustering or classification : making sense of whole documents

• customers / items relations : whether you want to know what kind of users should be targetted by an ad, or what kind of suggestion you should make to a customer, ChEn can help you
• inter-documents links : which means we could make more sense out of the WWW hyperlinks
